ERWEKA GMBH Appoints New Management for the US OperationsErwerka GMBH has announced the appointment of Leonard Minervini as their new Vice President/General Manager for Erweka America Corporation of Milford, Connecticut. He is now charged with the sales,service and distribution of the company's product range for the United States,Puerto Rico and Central America and has future plans to move its office to the pharmaceutical corridor in New Jersey. Len received his BA from Seton Hall University in 1975,and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1982. As an equipment vendor to the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years,his experience ranges from process to packaging,in both domestic and international markets. This experience includes parental filling and sealing,high shear granulation, fluid bed drying and coating,microwave vacuum drying, tablet presses,capsule filling and sealing,and pan coating machinery. Len's focus for the past eleven years had been the dry agglomeration process of roller compaction and size reduction equipment,where he had been the General Manager/ Vice President for Alexanderwerk Inc "Erweka produces high tech research and development test equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. Their products focus on the solid dosage area of the industry and their product line ranges from dissolution testers to tablet presses. Erweka is based in Heusenstamm,Germany near Frankfurt and has been in business since 1951."
