Logan Instruments Corp. launches RRT 7 and
Workstation 24/7 at AAPS, San Antonio,TX.
Somerset,NJ,USA Logan Instruments Corp.will launch the RRT 7 and Workstation 24/7 during the upcoming 2006 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition starting October 29, 2006 at the Henry Gonzalez Convention Center,San Antonio,TX,USA.
The RRT 7 is a released rate testing apparatus for use with USP 7 applications. The RRT 7 can be run as a stand alone instrument or in a fully automated system with in-line HPLC or UV analysis. The RRT 7 uses a “dry heat”system for temperature control and can run up to 24 samples at one time. “Accessories are available to automate sampling and media changing, thus providing increased testing flexibility,” reports,Dr. Luke Lee,President of Logan Instruments. Additionally “the unique design of the RRT-7 needs less bench space then “conventional”USP 7 systems, thus allowing for the RRT 7,Sample Collector,Syringe Pump,HPLC or UV detector, and the computer to all fit in a 6 x 2.5 foot bench space.Media reservoirs, waste containers, and a circulating/ heating unit all fit below the bench.”
The Workstation 24/7 is a fully automated system with the RRT 7 at the heart.Workstation 24/7 provides completely hands-free operation from compound testing to either UV or HPLC analysis. The new SC 480 sample collector will collect samples from the 24 test vessels and transfer them directly to the UV or HPLC for analysis.
Dr. Lee furthermore states that “the development of the RRT 7 and Workstation 24/7 could not have been accomplished with out the effort and ingenuity of the Logan engineering group. The launch of the RRT 7 confirms Logan Instruments claim as a world leader in providing cutting edge dissolution instrumentation.”For more information or to schedule a meeting with a Logan representative during the exposition, please contact John Shomers,National Sales Manager at, john.shomers@loganinstruments.com,or by phone at 732-302-9888.
